Is This Blessing Only for the Uncircumcised?
Paul says, for we say faithless counted to Abraham as righteousness, how then was it counted him? Was it before after he had been circumcised? It was not after, but before he was circumcised. So Paul is saying, hey, you want to know why God gave him circumcision? He was actually a physical sign to show that actually his righteousness had already been credited to his account. The purpose was to make him the father of all who believed without being circumcised. That's what circumcision was just to show that, right? Yeah, boy.
