The Importance of Durability in Exercise

The definition that you give in the paper of this concept of durability is defined as the time of onset and magnitude of deterioration in physiological profiling characteristics over time during prolonged exercise. You don't need a PhD in exercise physiology to understand the idea of durability, right? So in the triathlon triathlete, of course, so durability is something we inherently understand. It's just that it hasn't been talked about from a physiological point of view because we just don't usually put people in the lab and have them exercise that long.
