The Importance of Outcomes in Product Management
The goal definition process on a company level involves already so many sea levels and heads off OVP or whatever. The big problem is then even if you have that, those are probably metrics depending on your company size which one solution by itself probably can't change. So the next time you have to try to arrive at the goal first and then derive a more tangible goal, which you can actually measure and then derive the solution from that. That's obviously lots of steps required.
