How to Say No at Long Term

What I'd like to change is where I spend a lot of time explaining something or saying no at length to someone and feeling that about it afterwards. You're really deep in meshed into the thing of, because you love people and want warmth and trust, it's really hard for you to say no. And then when you do,you feel real bad about it after. It's selfish to me to be upset that I'm saying no, because the no is in their best interest. Yeah,. That's inappropriate because you're doing something to help them in their bestinterest so you shouldn't be feeling guilty. yeah...and then you beat up on yourself for feeling guilty and upset.
