The Effect of Deep Offshore Drilling on Oil Prices
I haven't seen any papers by anybody to try to answer your question perhaps it's in a business school literature there's lots of literature out there and I only read as much as I can. we don't study things when things go well right I mean economists have an explanation of why that is. One reason there might be not much written about it is there aren't high oil prices anymore so fracking has actually changed where the marginal barrel of oil comes from.
