The John Muir Trail: A Great Defense Against Bear Attacks
We tracked on our GPS watches about 250 miles total. We did the trail in 14 days. The true trail is 211 miles, but then you have five trips to resupply and like the trail actually ends on the top of Melwini. They say that if you hike a certain number of miles, Molly, you remember the number. I think it's like every 13 miles you hike in the Oregon caskets. And so we came back and in one day we had 25 miles to finish the rest of the trail in October. So 15 days total, but 14 continuous days on trail.
