Get Political for Animals and Win the Laws They Need by Julie E. Lewis is a text book that step-by-step tells you exactly how to do all the political organizing stuff I was talking about before. As many activists as possible should own this book in the animal movement, I think it's just an incredible resource that exists. And outside of that, I'll say I love reading history books, generally, either like biographies or history of other social movements or important moments in history. There's just always incredible lessons.
