What's Going to Happen in 2020?

I think one part of going through this banal-boring dystopia is that I think life is going to be pierced with moments of drama and shock. You know, the first time the US Capitol building was attacked by protesters, that was novel and shocking. And while I think we'll continue to be shocked, it's going to take more and more and things being worse and worse for us to be shocked by it because we're just going to become desensitized. Things level out, they seem normal. We might even go back up a little bit, but then we hit the next step, right? And that step isgoing to be kind of a shocking, dramatic thing.
