The History of Synthesizers
In the late 70s and early 80s, synthesizers were starting to be made commercially available. By 1986, when we put creative audio recording studios online at 19 West 36, it was completely digital audio workstation based. We did the first commercial in April of 1986 that didn't have any tape and ended up being a BMW commercial for BBTO,. And it was the first time anybody had ever done a soundtrack for a television commercial with no tape involved at all, no film and no tape, all digital.
