How RBS Is Serving SME Customers in the Financial Crisis

RBS was told to divest branches during the last financial crisis. It made agreement with HM Treasury and EU to put $725 million into a fund for competitors of RBS. And we were fortunate enough to be awarded 100 million from that fund. That 100 million is going towards marketing and building software to build the best SME bank in the world. We have a whole program over four years to spend that money on building technology and marketing.
