I'm a Drug Discovery Head and I Learned a Lot From My Experiences
After 20 years in pharma or biotech as a drug discovery head at GSK, he decided to go back. He was approached by Roche and they were thinking about setting up an external drug discovery group. And what I loved about that opportunity was it was an opportunity to use everything I'd learnt both in biotech, farmer and in the externalization space. Ultimately though,I did want to go back to biotech. So I came back with the UK focus on innovation but sometimes in biotech you have to get your timing right. But one thing is for sure: Innovation can mean many things to different groups. It's much easier to leverage innovation when it's strategically aligned to begin with.
