Do You See That as Your Role as a Recruiter for Independence?
A lot of this time I spend is trying to find interesting people to talk to, essentially interviewing them. And then also in terms of making sure our companies have the best talent working there. Once you get like decent at the recruiting game and like understanding, okay, you don't like working here because A, B and C thing, I can push on this and I can and you get very good at recruiting. In some ways, it's like the Navy seals pitch - what do they say? They say we have a high attrition rate. Well, I could convince all of them to quit. Like that's what I'm looking for.
