Are You Comparing Yourself to Others?

You can make a comparison to another person and come to the conclusion that, oh, they're beneath me, and i'm superior. And while that can feel good, that can also lead to feeling contempt. If we're boosting our own self esteem or self worth by comparing ourselves to others that we think are less than us in some area, if something happens in our life where suddenly we've internalized all this negativity toward people not doing as well, it's much more devastating.
