The idea of extending the mind with technology first took root in my booke noh. But i find it more interesting to think about how we extend the mind with, say, the gestures and movements and sensations of the body. And how we extended the mind with the people we inter act with,. Those are the most interesting kinds of extensions because we don't usually think of them that way. I'm so gratified when i get reactions to the book, like the one that you mentioned earlier, about doing your thinking while you were running.
