Mackenzie has spent the last two years working to understand herself as non vinary, and is starting to finally feel somewhat at ease with sharing her identity a bit more publicly. Mackenzie: I recently had reason to visit several different doctors, both for an injury and for regular check up. All of the doctors forms very specifically asked for sex assigned at birth. Could you provide some suggestions on how to navigate doctors offices as non binary and avoid the doctor walking in engendered terms of address?
