Marbury vs. Madison

In 1788 55 people meet in philadelphia and produce the constitution of the united states. It's a largely nonpartisan document but then jefferson supplants john adams to become the third president. In its last days congress passes the judiciary act of 1801 which is designed to deny jefferson a chance to appoint people to the court. So today when we're setling over article three say oh the court becoming politicized we're ignoring the politicization of the court.
