Learning Communities of Practice (Co Ps)
If your institution supports communities of practice, these are a great way to discuss shared challenges and collaborate on practical solutions. C o ps can be known by different names, such as faculty learning communities or professional learning communities. The underlying idea is the same - groups of people coming together to share and learn about a topic in which they all have an interest. There are three key elements to successful c o ps: Shared domain, sharing of practice and focus on enhancing that practice.
