Design Thinking 101

CHAPTER

Design Thinking and Self-Regulated Learning

A little bit of reading can be highly beneficial for someone looking to have accelerated learning experiences or deeper learning experiences. I do have a talk on South by Southwest EDU from last year called Design Thinking Has a Pedagogy Problem. Some of my favorite books that have really kind of informed and deepened my practice are Carol Dweck's Mindset. The Why Don't Students Like School by Willingham is one of my favorite cogside books. Anything by David Yeager around self-regulated learning, anything by Veronica Yan around desirable difficulty would be interesting.
