The House of Representatives is set to vote on the Highly Contentious National Defense Authorization Act. Several Republican lawmakers have filed amendments to curtail Pentagon policies they see as being going too far in some cases. The bill has passed an NDAA every year for the last six decades and it's always had bipartisan support. But this year it's gotten caught up in the House's culture wars and questions about whether Kevin McCarthy can control the MAGA wing of his party.
