Kendridge is someone who doesn't shy away er from emotion. The entire piece is deeply felt. It it has elements abstraction, but they are always used in the service of some human emotion,. And this is the paradox, really. There's a wonderful interlude between scenes which gives us these giant, inky silhouettes. They start to turn. Atfirst it all looksike more abstract, a drawing. But then as they turn, we realize we're actually watching a revolution in two senses - because they cohere. So there is this crazy coherence. This is that this is the artistic, ative hand of art.
