The Problem With Freud's Theories

Psychoanalysis aims to make unconscious drives pre-conscious so that they can be better understood. It seeks to try and make the person act in accordance with reason and common sense. Freud's theories are not really taken seriously among therapists, among counselors. There is some value there but a lot of his ideas are antiquated.
