The Importance of Metaphors in Writing

He was talking about why do Romans speak, receive pronunciation? The English British. And he's blaming Shakespeare because people perform Shakespeare's stories that are set in Rome and Egypt in British English for reasonable reasons. But anyway, it is a, I mean anything can be turned into a metaphor. So that's not terribly surprising that writing affects what kind of metaphors we use.
