Bain's model doesn't make you specialized when you join. It expects you to see a lot of different things, not because we don't think you need to have expertise and specialize over time. The idea of taking the insights from the restaurant work that I did to my healthcare client was hugely valuable. You can't have a retail practice in a group that does digital over here. That just felt right for me.
