The Science of Reading Gainstraction in Schools

Some school systems in the United States have only recently adopted the science-based approach to reading. It incorporates insights and research from disciplines including psychology, educational psychology, cognitive science and cognitive neuroscience. An important model in early reading research is what they call a simple view of reading. And it basically boils down to decoding times language comprehension equals reading comprehension.
