What Is the Normative Way That God Speaks?

The bible's actually not silent on this one. Moses himself is prophesying about acts two, when god's spirit would be poured out upon the church. The church is burthed in the fires of prophecy. We should go straight to visions and dreams because we should mark the new testament as a holy covenant. But i don't think that i would ever say that there is a specific amount of regularity, like, 30 % of the time that you go to sleep, you're goingin to have a prophetic dream. On an individual level, i don't think this speaks to every single believer. And teetotalers are crazy in fact; they shouldn't do it
