The Negative Bias and Anxiety

I think people feel under pressure to be positive and they feel like there's something wrong because obviously with anxiety so you have a magnifying glass on everything negative. One of the pieces around the negativity bias is that there is a part of our brain that encodes more positive memories which can make us more resilient. If we practice actually remembering and drawing positive memories to mind over time it can be a way of then accessing those memories more easily when we notice we're being more negative. I don't see it as totally useful to completely deny negativity but for me it's all about how in all true history we've been primed to go negative. We place an awful lot less significance on planet things
