Is Facebook Decentralized Decision Making?
I was most surprised by how decentralized decision making is. At one point, when youw'ud go in search of the the facebook ap tab, you would see over like 35 different little features riat everything from like a weather m to find my friends. I really thought there was more of a central vision than i saw. But at the same time, it's really a place where, you individual teams were allowed to pursue ametrics and objectives and see what worked. The idea that there's lots of people within facebook all pulling different levers iannot coherent, yes? And i mean, there are areas where leadership and and marker, i think, are heavily, heavily involved.
