Sally Kohn: As long as it is possible to lobby a government to interfere in the money supply, fractional reserve will always win that tournament. She says if you had a system where just through common law mechanisms, only sophisticated people were in fractional reserve, well, then we can see what that world would look like by looking at hedge funds - nobody cares when their fund crashes.Kohn: If everybody there were, you know, sophisticated investors and rich guys, they wouldn't have the human shields. That's how it should work with bank collapses as well.
