Getting Closer to Christ Through Scrip Study

In 20 21, elder David a bednar gave the following idea for growing closer to christ throughscrip study. One of the challenges with studying the scriptures is that they all kind of look the same. While that has some advantages, it can trip us up if we don't remember that these books of scripture are quite different from each other. The book of mormon is written on a different continent and spans the time period of the old and new testament. And then we have modern revelations from the 18 hundreds and forward. All these books of scrip are trying to help us understand more about jesus christ.
