What Is a pH Impedance Study?

PDSGI is a 24-hour test and involves a tube probe through the nose into the upper GI tract. So you basically monitor interest of a GL events for 24 hours because the esophagus is a very simple organ. All you want to do is to stay empty. That's the only job of an esophagus. Either it has to push things down or get rid of things when they come up, that's what pH impedance does.
