The Neurotic Isolation of Guilt

The legal system finds people guilty or innocent. To some extent, regardless of how the person feels, we would like to see someone exhibit remorse. When I feel guilty of something, there's a feeling like I hope I don't get caught. But when we are guilty, we do need to do something to atone for it. And that emphasizes the difference really again between remorse and guilt.
