The Gas Station Cove

We had two trucks on empty. There was no chance of reaching a next town, wherever that might have been. It was pitch black, alaska night black. I remember thinking, if we tore the foam and the rubber out of the seats, i wonder if we could get them to burn. We decided at that point the only thing left to do was to siphen the gas out of the big truck. The game waske were we going to make it? Would it be around the bend? Wid the gas hold out?
