What Does a Union Do?
If this law comes in, just take a sickie. No, I'm saying that's what will happen. People might take holidays. I'm taking two days' holiday. In my view, it will become unworkable. We then have the horrible situation where some workers might say, I'm not being instructed to go into work. They end up getting sacked. The reality of that then, what does a union do?
