The Pandemic and the Innovation Dividend
During the pandemic, rules that govern how systems are functioned were suspended. That's why you saw a lot of lateral communication and innovation. As people got vaccinated, as we cut back to schools, you see these old norms coming back in place. And I think we have to recognize those forces for what they are. If we're going to build systems that are resilient to future crisis, we should learn from this one.
