The Cultural Self-Healing Mechanism
If a culture can hold its roots, then it will come back even after some social upheavals or external pressures. So this principle is similar at the individual level. If one individual loses his or her sense of roots, cultural roots, a home, then she will be lost in sense that no particular agenda in everyday activity. That kind of lost could be seen at the individual life, individual practice level and the culture level. And so in Chinese case, for example, we find that overall Chinese culture can be summarized to the extent that it's based on fuel,. core fundamental beliefs and values.
