Scaling a Client Application to a Data Center
You throw 10 boxes at it, you're going to get 10 times the amount of throughput give or take. So calling it near linear scalability. Effectively, you add twice as many boxes, you can get twice as many throughput. But it's not quite that. Call it like a 1.8 ratio, et cetera. And then there may be an addition to the web server and the application server, there may be N number of other processes or programs that are doing stuff for you. That middle tier could be a lot of stuff. The final layer is your database server, right? Whatever it is, no SQL or, you know, a traditional relational database, right
