Most human beings don't like cognitive dissonance. It makes them uncomfortable to hold conflicting ideas that at the same time. I think something to aspire for is a founder who can know both oh no like my star employee just quit and says my startup is horrible but also be able to execute in that environment. Be optimistic just don't be magically optimistic yeah be rooted in reality squarely rooted in real reality.
