Sidric is a philosopher's philosopher. He's not generally known in the way that Mill and Bentham are. You've hinted about why might be because he's writing in a much more complex style. But on the other hand, you do get something that requires more concentration and more effort to read. The methods of ethics is some 500 or so pages long.
