I do totally see how fandom and especially queer segments of fandoms can be kind of vulnerable to this kind of thing. It is in many cases very unfair. And not fair to look at them completely negatively, because there are reasons why people respond to stuff like this. I honestly think that it is totally fine to listen to Taylor Swift's music and read it as queer and speaking to your experience without assigning those intentions to her as the songwriter.
