Is There a Research in Nutrition for Long Term Health Outcomes?

A lot of research in nutrition specifically for long term health outcomes comes from either like observational epidemiological studies or cohort studies. People with very heterodox nutritional ideas will point to the research that does exist and be like, oh, you're making the classic blender. And then they'll take the next step and say, these things that healthy people seem to do, it is actually bad for their health. So ultimately you're dealing with with a case of healthy user bias, where it looks like the things I'm promoting are associated with bad health outcomes.
