Why Is the Indonesian Government Taking Part in a Massive Resettlement Programme?
The jacado government has been taking part in a very large resettlement programme, moving lots of people from barley and jarva into west papua. Why do you think they're doing that? Yes, look, its it's basically a strategy of occupation. They are try to displace the west pupans. Back in a 69, when theat, what the puppans call the act of no choice took place, the population on both sides of the island was roughly the same. Now you've got a population of around about seven million melanesians in papin new guinea, and round about one and a half a melanesian in west papua so yet huge population difference.
