Sophoware founder John Doyou says he has no regrets about selling the company. He and his wife documented their expenses to get a sense of how much they would be spending moving forward. They are still in touch with employers, who have bought other businesses in their portfolio. "I think something like 80 per cent of businesses that want to sell never exit," said Doyou.
