The Failures of the Victorian Water System
The ideal for a regulator is that you don't have huge parts of the system keeling over. We are still running on Victorian infrastructure, and we haven't built anything like new reservoirs in decades. They've been crying out for the Abingdon Reservoir for something like 25 years but politicians refuse to summon sufficient political will to get it built. More action is going to have to be taken with more investment in upgrading our water infrastructure.
