The Animal Welfare Board of India

The animal welfare board of India is a very powerful organization and that has a great deal of clout in being able to influence you know the interaction between street dogs and people. The AWB are an advisory body to the government of India on matters of protection of animals etc. They have gone the animal rights way which is to say now everything has the same rights and they're going to live on the streets and they can't be removed from public spaces. Now again like I said this may be aspirational in terms of the animal rights ideology but this is illegal as far as the laws of the country and the constitution is concerned.
