The Government's Use of Public Funds to Finance Interactions Between Influencers and Senior Government Functionaries

The White House on Monday slammed the online harassment of journalist Sabrina Siddiqui. A series of interviews with union ministers conducted by social media influencer Beer Biceps raised questions this week about the government's use of public funds to finance interactions between influencers and senior functionaries. These interviews came close on the heels of news reports that said that union minister Piyush Koyal met about 50 influencers, YouTube influencers but Akash and Dr Medusa were not among them.
