How Much Do You See This Project of Yours, a Project to Secularize Islam?
i generally, im not very happy with the word secularization or secular yes. i think we need a secular state in the sense that islamic belief, acita, practice will be independent. And moslems might have healthy, civilized conversations and disagreements among them which will help the maturation of our tradition. The greatness of th islamic civilization was at its height when moslems were able to have these discussions. I think there are certain periods in islam where the state intervened and imposed a certain doctrine,. Those are really bad moments in our history.
