The Importance of UX Strategy

I'm not sure actually I've never really made that exact distinction between UX and UX strategy because I've always considered myself sort of a strategist. He makes some fair points about UX always being strategic and that you actually need some certain more core competencies to be able to work with UX strategy. Yeah, but I got my jurisdiction there with a lot of us work with UX tactics.
