I think it was more manifested in my desire to do hard sets in the gym specifically with like big compound movements. So I didn't actually notice really tangible decreases in performance in the gym. When I get leaner it just doesn't feel as strong for me. It could just be that the body's getting smaller and a longer range of motion. But even so on both of those movements I pretty much maintained.
