The Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause Make NoSense

Some conservative scholars have latched on to the idea that the establishment clause should be an exception. The real goal of the clause was to preent the federal government from interfering with states established religions, and so it doesn't make sense to apply the same rule to states.
