Author says Ballard has a 'deep understanding of the psychological forces it shape us through this sort of merger with technology' He also talks about television being a siborg tion of the eye of the mind's eye. The book really struck me as an evocation of the way that people these days, a myself included, are welded to our screens in the form of smart pones, our computers.
